The Scoop on Lunch at Fraiche
by AMGThe buzz in LA is Culver City’s hotspot eatery, Fraiche. While recently appointed best new restaurant in LA by Los Angeles Magazine, if the service is the same for all guests as it was for us, it’ll fall off of the list by ‘09. Guaranteed.
Menu: The menu is simple and light. Don’t let the brief item descriptions fool you, because that’s all you get.
Service: Horrible. The server was far from attentive, forcing me to repeatedly request ice tea refills. Bread was served to every table but ours. Here’s the kicker … even though the restaurant was far from busy, somehow the bozo servers managed to charge us for the wrong check and literally chased us down the sidewalk to tell us we owed $7!! Completely in shock, we entered back into the restaurant where they proceeded to re-charge my credit card for the correct amount saying that the only way it could be corrected was this, or the servers paying for it themselves. Either way, big mistake. The service is better at Daphne’s and Santa Maria BBQ.

One-time Customer
