The smart fortwo has been the darling of European cities for some time, and now it’s coming to America, where bigger is often thought of as better.
The smart is minimalism, automotive style. Minimal size and minimal fuel consumption. It gets 40 plus miles per gallon is possible.

Smart’s parent company, Daimler AMG debated for a long time about whether to distribute the car here. Now, it looks like that may have been a smart decision, as our gas prices head toward four dollars a gallon.
All 2008 smart fortwos come packed with standard safety features that are more likely to be found in luxury vehicles.
