The buzz in LA is Gene Simmons reading from his new book, “Ladies of the Night.” It takes place July 8 at 7pm and it’s free at Borders in Westwood.  This post could be rife with “Gene Simmons reads!?!?!!?” jokes, but he’s proved himself to be a smart, strategic, and generally with-it type of guy, so that shenaniganery would have no place here. Given all his past smart-guy performances, we just wish that instead of reading about …..I don’t know….all the ladies of the night he’s been with, that he was reading aloud passages from Milton Friedman’s finest texts and elucidating on his opinions. But I guess we’ll have to settle for prostitutes for now.
