Old Bank District Holiday Block Party | Tomorrow Night 6-12pm

Located in the heart of the downtown Historic Core at 4th and Main Streets, The Old Bank District will brighten the holidays with a custom “snow fall” light installation during the holidays until January 2nd, 2009. The light display will stretch across 4th Street between Spring St. and Main St. For the December 6th block party, streets will be closed to vehicle traffic on 4th St. between Spring St. and Main St. as well as on Main St. between 4th St. and 5th St. (except for local residents and event parking).
Pete’s Café & Bar, Warung Restaurant and Rocket Pizza Lounge will be extending their
patios and offering special holiday menus and cocktails during the holiday season. Ten
percent of all restaurant proceeds will be donated to participating local charities including
Chrysalis, The Salvation Army and Midnight Mission. Local charities will have booths
available to provide information, sign-up volunteers and receive donations. The Midnight
Mission will be accepting holiday toy and gift donations, particularly for young adults
and teens.

The free Old Bank District Holiday Block Party will also include:

- Main Stage presented by Little Radio with live performances from The Like,
Whispertown 2000, The Afternoons, Restaurant, and special guest headliner
performing from 6 pm – 12 am.

- An outdoor Beer and Wine Garden on 4th St., with seating for partygoers to enjoy
the lights and entertainment.

Materials and others, will be offering specials and discounts for holiday shoppers.

featuring the work of over 30 local artists. The Bazaar will be cash only and all
